Role: Assistant Engineer
Salary: £27,000 - £33,000
Location: Castleford
The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Engineer to be part of this well-established team based in Castleford. As a leader in their field, they have become the leading supplier of fall arrest equipment services, electrical testing, specialist building access, fire solutions and water treatment. Main Duties
- Assist in delivering various working at heights projects
- Accurately record installation, inspection, and certification details
- Diagnose faults and assist in equipment repairs
- Support team members by maintaining tools and equipment
- Follow method statements, risk assessments and safety regulations
- Prioritise health and safety in all tasks taken
- Communicate professionally with team members, clients and contractors
- Work effectively as part of the on site team
- Maintain professional with corporate clothing and keeping company van clean
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in construction sites and comfortable working at heights. Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit. A commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to challenges are essential for success in this role. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who displays:
- Proficiency with various small hand tools and power tools
- Have a hands-on approach to tasks given
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a dynamic approach
- A Full UK Driving License is desirable
