REED is collaborating with a school in Northamptonshire to recruit a dedicated Music Teacher available to start in October 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to the musical education within a supportive school environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Develop lesson plans and curricula that reflect the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into a broader educational context.
  • Organise and direct school music performances and events.
  • Stay current with educational best practices and incorporate new techniques into teaching.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the Music curriculum with experience in delivering lessons effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
  • A passion for music and education with a commitment to professional development.
