CKL Developments are an award-winning classic car restoration and racing business based in Battle, East Sussex, specialising in Jaguar powered cars from the 1950s and 1960s.
We are looking to recruit a part-time experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team in this fast-paced office and workshop environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sales ledger management
Processing sales invoices
Customer statement distribution
Debt collection
- Purchase ledger management
Processing supplier invoices
Supplier statement reconciliation
Prepare payment runs
Processing supplier payments
- Credit card/bank account reconciliation
- Cashflow
- VAT return preparation
- Payroll data preparation
- Some general office administration duties
Essential experience and skills
- AAT Level 3 minimum or equivalent, including qualified by experience
- Experience of managing both sales and purchase ledger
- Experienced user of Sage50 Accounts
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work confidently, with tact, diplomacy and discretion
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with staff, customers and suppliers at all levels
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to make sound judgments about competing priorities and identifying resources accordingly
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Desirable experience and skills:
- Experience of or interest in the Classic Car, motorsport or other related industry
- Experience of Dragon2000 dealer management system
This is a part-time (20-24hrs/week) permanent position, working at our premises in Battle, East Sussex.
