Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Senior Management Accountant for a growing business with a UK Head Office based in Wetherby. This varied role will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of management reporting while also working closely with the Senior Leadership team
The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Controller and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant will include:
- Development and management of up to 3 direct reports
- Provide support to Financial Controller on additional Finance team tasks and projects
- Responsible for preparation and production of monthly management accounts for a number of branches and associated sub-branches, including managing accruals, prepayments, journal entries, within month end deadlines
- Provide business partnering to the Branch Directors and Regional Directors to support in interpreting monthly financial results
- Reporting and analysis, building, improving and maintaining excel reporting
- Assist assigned branch directors in the development and review of annual budgets and supporting branches during quarterly forecasting
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- Fully qualified with minimum 4 years experience (CIMA / ACCA)
- Minimum of 2 years experience producing monthly management accounts
- Experienced in budgeting and forecasting process
- Minimum 1 year management experience
- Excellent IT and strong Excel skills - competent with data manipulation on large data sets; pivot tables; sumifs; vlookups; xlookups; index matching.
Salary & Benefits
In return, the successful Management Accountant will receive the following:
- £45,000 - £60,000 base salary
