Here at Futures we are delighted to be working with a leading but continuously growing FMCG manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire.
The business has recently invested circa £100m for general improvements within the production facilities, improve efficiency while ensuring sustainability and environment is top priority.
Reporting into the Industrial Director, an Environmetal Manager will be responsible for driving sustainability and environmental projects across 3 production sites.
Responsibilities of an Environmental Manager:
- Organise Site audits on CSR topics when necessary
- Develop and update the Environmental Action Plan and provide guidance to the EHS team for it's completion
- Plan and prepare the appropriate environmental forecast and assist with compliance with critical Environmental legal and other compliance.
- Provides expertise, support and direction to the EHS team on Environmental matters.
- Lead internal and external communications on CSR topics
Successful Environmental Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field
- Enthusiasm for environmental and sustainability practices
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability principles and best practices
