Accounts Administrator | Permanent | Belfast
Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business within the construction industry and are actively recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to provide support to the core finance team.
This is a full time opportunity, office based 5 days per week.
Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm and a 3pm finish on Friday.
Salary £25,000 per annum
The Job:
Working as part of a structured finance team and reporting to the Group Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily finance tasks
- Posting journals to the finance system
- Review of daily and weekly sales prior to submission
- Setting up payment templates and processing payments on bankline as required
- Writing cheques and recording details as required
- Raising manual invoices as requested and maintaining the manual invoice register
- Liaising with branch administrators on a regular basis
- Various other accounts/administrative tasks as they arise
The Person:
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and ideally MS Dynamics and will have previous experience of working to tight deadlines in a busy finance environment.
Candidates will have 1 years relative accounts experience.
Accuracy and a keen eye for detail is of absolute importance. Candidates should be self-motivated and quick to learn, extremely well-organised and able to prioritise workload.
This role would be a brilliant opportunity to gain experience in accountancy & finance. A 3rd level relevant qualification would be preferred and full training will be provided.
