We're looking for a dynamic Product Manager to ensure we offer market-leading product ranges and exceptional value across all our categories (Tiles, Accessories, Adhesives) and channels.

As a Product Manager at CTD, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams such as Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, E-Commerce, Finance, and Logistics. You'll also liaise with our suppliers to manage product performance throughout their lifecycle—from launch to exit—ensuring they are on-trend, competitively priced, well-represented, and commercially successful.

You will take on end-to-end responsibility for a product portfolio (Tiles or Accessories) and manage an Assistant Product Manager.

Your Areas of Responsibility:

  • Be the technical product expert for your product portfolio
  • Understand the market, staying on top of trends & competitor activity
  • Maintain close supplier relationships ensuring CTD is aware of supplier product roadmaps, is collaborating with & has early access to new product launches
  • Analyse & manage the commercial performance of your product portfolio achieving the right mix of volume, ASP & margin
  • Ensure our range is on trend, meets customer needs & delivers commercial targets
  • Identify & select new products to be introduced to the business
  • Own the Go-To-Market process, leading a cross functional team to launch new products into market through all our channels right first time
  • Identify & select products for discontinuation
  • Own the product end of life process to effectively exit discontinued SKU's, minimizing the impact on the business & our customers
  • Own the pricing strategy for your product portfolio & translating this into day-to-day pricing
  • Build & deliver a roadmap of product activity – launches, discontinuations, promotional activity
  • Manage an Assistant Product Manager, supporting them to achieve their objectives & effectively developing their skillset

Competencies and Personal Attributes:

  • 3 years + experience in product or category management with ownership of product portfolio, commercial performance & whole product lifecycle in a retail and / or distribution business
  • Passionate about understanding customers & building propositions that excite & inspire
  • Able to quickly understand markets & develop strategies that deliver profitable growth
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering improved category / product commercial performance
  • A proven track record of delivering complex new product launches right first time
  • Ability to analyze complex data & derive meaningful insights
  • Ability to engage with colleagues & suppliers at all levels including senior leadership
  • Specific tile & tile accessory product knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • A passionate, energetic individual comfortable working at pace & keen to progress their career
