Salary: £25,396.80 per annum plus gratuities
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (rota-based)

The Role
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a key part in creating memorable moments for our guests. Working across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner services, you'll help deliver service excellence in all our venues. You will also support our prestigious private events, including weddings and exclusive functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing attentive and professional service across all dining periods
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintaining the high standards of presentation and cleanliness expected at Burgh Island
- Supporting the delivery of special events and private functions
- Sharing your knowledge of our menus and offerings to enhance the guest experience
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for hospitality and takes pride in delivering outstanding service
- Is friendly, reliable, and a true team player
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has previous experience in a food and beverage role (preferred but not essential — we provide training)
- Is flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Working Hours & Flexibility
- 40-hour contract across5 days per week, scheduled on arota basis.
- Weekends and bank holidays are part of the schedule.
