A Financial Services Client of ours based in London is seeking a skilled GUI Developer, who has extensive experince of C# .NET Framework to join their team on an intial 12 month basis.

The Client is a global European Bank who are looking for a senior electronic trading GUI Developer to deliver key technology projects on the electronic trading platform.
Description
Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Delivering key technology projects on the electronic trading platform
- Close interaction with business and other quantitative research and IT teams in developing new features in the electronic trading platform and also in assisting them in the investigation of issues (e.g. post-event analysis, performance and scalability, latency reduction)
- Working with management to draw up specifications for new projects and estimate the costs involved in their implementation.
- Designing and implementing agreed electronic trading platform components
- Developing robust and reliable testing strategies
- Ensuring smooth liaison with other teams, both inside and outside eRates IT where appropriate (eg London/NY dev teams, Production support teams, etc)
Profile
The Successful candidate will have commercial experience of:
- Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, and associated trading workflows : Government Bonds, Interest Swaps, Repos, Futures and options
- Knowledge of fixed income electronic trading venues and associated dataflows : market, static and trade data
- C# .NET Framework
- Working with real time, multithreaded applications
- Working with monitoring tools.
- IOC / dependency injection.
- WPF applications.

Nice-to-have (non-mandatory): React/Angular or similar web development framework
Job Offer
On offer for a successful candidate is the ability to earn up to £850 per day Inside IR35 for an initial 12 month basis with the possibility of an extension while working in a hybrid format commuting to the office 2-3 days per week.
