About the role:
- Develop and refine our pastry selection, focusing on high-quality, innovative products Regularly experiment with new recipes and techniques
- Manage and mentor the pastry team, providing training and guidance to enhance skills and foster a positive work environment
- Effectively schedule team rotas to ensure optimal staffing levels, considering peak times, events, and staff availability
- Plan and oversee the procurement of ingredients and supplies, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency by implementing strategies for efficient production planning to minimise waste and optimise resource usage
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Work with management for special events, catering, and strategic planning
- Implement efficient pastry making systems and processes and continuously seek improvements in operations
- Proactively handle challenges such as power outages, equipment failures, or other unforeseen issues
- Gather feedback on products to make informed adjustments, ensuring satisfaction
- Coordinate with other sections for seamless operations and cross promotional products
About you:

- Positive communicator with all levels of the business
- Proven experience within a senior pastry chef role
