Salary: £18,000 a year

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional on-site and remote IT support, resolving hardware and software issues with expertise and precision.

- Conduct thorough system installations, configurations, and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

In addition to resolving IT faults and queries, you will also support 3rd line technicians in project work, contributing to the success of our team.
What we are looking for:
Skills and knowledge required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, including Windows 7/8/10 and Windows 11, with a strong technical foundation.
- Extensive knowledge of server operating systems and technologies, such as Server 2016/2012/2008, Server 2019, and Server 2022, DHCP, and DNS, to ensure seamless network operations.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 is essential.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls, enabling effective troubleshooting and network management.
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills, essential for efficient coordination and seamless collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, maintaining composure and delivering optimal results in challenging situations.
- A passion for continuous learning, with a drive to expand your IT knowledge and qualifications.
- Exceptional customer-facing support skills, ensuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships.
Essential:
Having a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travel to client sites.
- A company van will be provided.
On-site:
- Please note that this position requires daily attendance at our office.
- Remote or home working is not possible for this role.
- Applicants must be able to commute to and work from our office every day.
Security Checks:
LaneSystems require staff to complete DBS & BPSS Checks, this will be completed by LaneSystems following acceptance of an offer from the candidate.
Entry requirements:
- an A-Level in ICT
- OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
- OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
- OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
