Customer Service Manager

We are recruiting for a leading UK-based company that are recognised for their commitments to ethical practices, using natural and cruelty-free ingredients in their products. They are looking for a Customer Service Manager to join their Horsham team on a full time basis (Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm).

Who Are They Looking For?

  • A driving license is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good numerical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and developing product knowledge.
  • Proactive, "can-do" attitude with a focus on improvement.
  • Previous experience in a customer care role, especially with telephone, live chat, and email (using Gorgias), is a plus.

What Does The Role Look Like?

  • Manage and support the customer service team, ensuring workflow efficiency and team productivity.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues, liaising with other departments as needed.
  • Conduct yearly performance reviews and oversee team leave and sickness.
  • Train new employees and keep the team updated on systems, products, and procedures.
  • Handle customer communications across various channels, process orders, and manage customer returns and refunds.
  • Maintain professional relationships and assist other departments with administrative tasks.
