Reed Accountancy is on the lookout for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a team in Coventry. This is a permanent position and office based. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a solid grasp of purchase ledger accounting principles, we want to hear from you!

Day to Day of the role:

  • Accurate invoice coding and matching to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
  • Processing BACs payments efficiently and on time.
  • Calculating VAT for transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Performing statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or in a similar role.
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in SAGE 50.
