The Role;

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Executive Reward Lead on behalf of our leading financial service client. The focus of the role will be to develop and implement a compliant and effective executive reward strategy to attract, retain, and engage top talent, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and supporting the business strategy.

Responsibilities;

  • Develop and Implement Executive Reward Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive executive reward strategy to attract, retain, and engage top talent essential for achieving the business objectives.
  • Market and Regulatory Insights: Utilise in-depth external insights and market knowledge to enhance reward processes and ensure they align with current regulations.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Guarantee that all executive reward designs and procedures adhere to legislative requirements and industry best practices.
  • Annual Reward Cycle Management: Plan and execute the annual reward cycle for the executive team, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of accurate regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Remuneration Committee Papers: Produce detailed reports for the Remuneration Committee, coordinating with external advisors when necessary.
  • Executive Guidance: Provide expert insights, guidance, and recommendations on a variety of reward topics to the Executive Team.
  • Governance and Risk Collaboration: Work closely with the broader Reward team to address governance and risk issues related to the Executive Team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to support and deliver comprehensive reward programs.
  • Capability Building: Actively enhance the skills and capabilities of the People Division, line managers, and Senior Leadership through targeted initiatives.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance with the Group's supplier relationship management standards.
  • Strategic Translation and Implementation: Convert Divisional plans into actionable deliverables to support and achieve Group strategic priorities.
  • Team Capability and Capacity Building: Enhance the skills and resources of the team or service to ensure long-term commercial success.

Essential Qualifications and Skills;

  • CIPD Certification or Equivalent Experience: Possess CIPD certification or relevant experience in HR.
  • Comprehensive HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of various HR disciplines including executive recruitment, organisational effectiveness, resourcing, talent management, and inclusion.
  • Financial Services: Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is desirable.
  • Legislative and Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with relevant legislation, compliance, corporate governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
