Job Title: Skilled Site Supervisor

Location: Based in Taunton, covering sites from Plymouth to Swansea, South London to Oxford and up to Gloucester

Salary: 15.50 - 16.50 per hour (31,837 - 33,891 annually) based on experience and including overtime salary range between £42,919.50 to £45,688.50. All travel to and from site is paid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the setup of specific construction materials
  • Organise site tasks and handle resource allocation
  • Work closely with a team on various building projects
  • Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and project requirements
  • Report daily updates to the Site Operations Manager

PREFFERED Qualifications and Experience:

Extensive experience in structural and architectural metalwork installation

  • Proficiency in working with cranes and MEWPs
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • A61 (Lift Supervisor) qualification or A40 slinger ticket instead of A61.
  • IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification
  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification

Working Hours:

  • Standard 39.5-hour week (on-site hours: 8:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 8:00-16:00 Friday)
  • First 5 hours over 39.5 hours paid at time and a quarter, all additional hours paid at time and a half

Additional Information:

  • The supervisor needs to be based fairly local to Taunton due to travel requirements
  • The working radius covers a wide area, including sites from Plymouth to Swansea, South London to Oxford and up to Gloucester
