We're seeking a dynamic HR professional to join our clients Science and Research Government Administration team in Exeter for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance office and remote work.
Interim HR Officer Job Purpose:
To deliver excellent HR customer service and proactively support our colleagues throughout their employee life cycle. You'll play a crucial role in making our organisation a great place to work and fostering a culture of collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of generalist HR queries, from general enquiries and payroll to early employee relations support
- Work collaboratively within the employee experience team to ensure timely, professional, and accurate advice to colleagues
- Bring teamwork, positivity, and innovative thinking to all aspects of your role
- Contribute to continuous service improvement by challenging the status quo and finding solutions to enhance our practices, systems, and employee services
- Champion well being, equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
- Maintain a focus on quality and ethical practices, while staying informed of emerging trends in HR
