Role – Stock Administrator
Location – Bury
Type – Permanent
Hours – Part time 30-32 hrs p/w (over 5 days)
e.g. 7.30am-2pm // 8am-2.30pm // 8.30am-3pm
Salary - £28,000-£30,000 (Pro rata would be £22,400-£24,00)
I am currently working with a manufacturing company in Bury that is seeking a Part time Stock Administrator (30-32 hours).
The role is integral to their operations, ensuring stock is monitored and adjusted accordingly so they can supply to their customers effectively and efficiently.
The client is a brilliant company who I have worked with before and will be looking for a candidate who can fit into their friendly culture whilst also helping with other areas of the business when required.
Role Responsibilities:
- Book goods into the ERP system
- Liaise with Purchasing if discrepancies arise during booking in process
- Searching for short or missing stock, and making necessary adjustments or substitutions in the system
- Assisting supervisor and storeman with any stock issues encountered and offering solutions if possible.
- Carry out weekly stock checks based on list generate from ERP software
- Investigating discrepancies when stock doesn't match the system.
- Making location changes or adjustments in the system.
- Liaise with suppliers in case of faulty product and organise returns.
- Informing appropriate departments about date-sensitive products.
- Removing obsolete products both physically and from the ERP system.
- Responding to incident reports assigned to stock control.
- Going on to the shopfloor and physically assessing stock to ensure it matches the systems
