Position: Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Hours: 10 hours per week
Location: Central Bournemouth

About Us:

We are working with a central Bournemouth charity looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly office. This is a varied and interesting role where you will be a key part of their team, working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Cash transactions
  • Sales invoicing
  • Fundraising function analysis
  • Monthly reporting to the Board
  • Membership liaison
  • Credit Control
  • Gift Aid reclaim
  • Levy repayments
  • Year-end processes
  • Payroll
  • Shop transactions
  • Ad hoc duties as necessary

Skill Set Required:

  • Experienced in SAGE 50 Accounts
  • SAGE 50 Payroll (advantageous but not essential)
  • Financial reporting (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss)
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficient in Outlook
  • Good telephone manner
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Team player
  • Adaptable, reliable, and trustworthy
