Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Reed Legal are currently working in partnership with a reputable legal practice based in Stockport, dedicated to providing top-notch legal services to our clients. Our team is known for its professionalism, expertise, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes.

Role Overview: Our client is looking for a diligent and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The successful candidate will support our solicitors in managing a diverse range of litigation cases, ensuring efficient and effective case management with experience in either Residential Property or Secured Lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed
  • Liaise with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case progress
  • Attend court hearings and take detailed notes as required
  • Assist in the preparation of trial bundles and other court documents
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation
  • Experience within Residential Property or Secured Lending
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and practices
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software
