Audit & Accounts Senior

Reed are please to be working with an established accounting firm offering an excellent opportunity for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team. The role will be suited to someone who is already ACCA/ACA qualified and looking for a hybrid working arrangement.

  • Annual Salary: circa £55k (negotiable based on experience)
  • Location: Options for home and office work
  • Job Type: Full-time

Duties:

  • Conduct roughly a 75/25 split between audit and accounts work.
  • Assist Senior Managers in planning audits and completing detailed audit testing.
  • Review and finalise financial statements and draft Corporation tax computations.
  • Submit approved Accounts and Corporation tax returns.
  • Prepare and submit Self Assessment tax returns.
  • Delegate tasks to our outsourced team in India and review their completed work.
  • Manage some management account assignments, providing completed monthly management accounts to Senior Managers for review and client meetings.
  • Attend client premises as necessary, with increased office presence during the probationary period for training and job shadowing

Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACCA or ICAEW.
  • Experience with CCH and Caseware
  • Xero and Sage is beneficial.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
