About The Job...
- Working 1 to 1 to support an adult with learning difficulties and disabilities in the workplace
- Supporting an individual with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) to access employment
- A 12 month fixed term contract
- Full time or part time
About Your Key Responsibilities...
- Conduct initial assessments to identify needs, strengths, and challenges
- Develop individualised learning plans
- Implement strategies to enhance the employee's skills, confidence, and independence
- Provide ongoing support to the employee and utilise coaching techniques
- Design and implement strategies to empower the employee to work independently and in group activities
- Support in the development of life skills
About You...
- Experience supporting people with additional needs and learning difficulties
- Strong coaching and communication skills
- Able to adapt and differentiate teaching and coaching methods
- Empathy, patience, and commitment to SEND inclusion
