Do you have great attention to detail, good working knowledge of using Excel and like to investigate? Then this may be the role for you, we are looking for a Validation Executive to join our team in Milton Keynes.

Role Profile

To research, validate and select firms for appropriate reviews in accordance with annual departmental and cyclical review targets, and ad-hoc needs, to assist QAD in fulfilling its regulatory monitoring responsibilities.

To provide support to the wider QAD Head Office team on research and validation matters.

Responsibilities include:

  1. To research, validate and select firms for relevant reviews in accordance with agreed monthly, annual and cyclical targets and ICAEW processes and procedures, providing progress updates to management as required
  2. To research enquiries from reviewers and internal colleagues and stakeholders relating to validation; resolving issues as they arise and referring appropriate queries to the Validation Supervisor or other colleagues.
  3. To perform firm investigation work ("pot investigation") as the business requires it, providing progress updates and feeding back results to the appropriate management.
  4. To provide assistance to the Validation Supervisor as required in the preparation of monthly KPIs, at all times ensuring the accuracy of the data collated and presented.

Candidate Profile

Requirements include:

  • Confident, inquisitive, accurate, thorough
  • Pays attention to detail, capacity to learn quickly and a willingness to take ownership for deliverables.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
  • Computer literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of web-based research tools - eg Google searches, Companies House, other regulatory websites
