Customer Operations Coordinator

We are looking to recruit a Customer Operations Coordinator for our client based in Stafford. You will join a small, friendly team within a very reputable SME. This is an exciting time to join as the company embarks on its journey of growth, for the right person, this role can lead into a Customer Operations Manager role in the near future

The Operations Coordinator will play a critical role within the company in managing sales orders from the point of order up to delivery to the customer. This position involves coordinating various operational tasks including; logistics, warehouse organisation, task allocation for warehouse operatives and ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project managing machinery orders from the point the order is live up until delivery to the customer. Working with internal departments to ensure all necessary tasks are completed efficiently for the fulfilment of an order.
  • Being the customers point of contact during the order process, answering any questions presented and proactively providing them with necessary information up front.
  • Working with warehouse operatives allocating and prioritising tasks.
  • Arranging dedicated transport to customers including abnormal loads for larger machinery.
  • Efficiently handing machinery orders over to the Service Team at the point of delivery.
  • Providing general team support to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • Occasional cover for critical operational duties during absences

Requirements:

  • GCSE's or equivalent.

Previous experienced in a customer service/ administrative role

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Sales, Purchasing and Inventory management software.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Benefits:

  • Salary £32,000 - £36,000 per annum

  • Hours: 7:30 - 17:00 (45 minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7:30 - 16:00 (45 minutes lunch) Friday
