Part Time Client Support and Finance Administrator

Our Client seeks a Part Time Client Support and Finance Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis. The Part Time Client Support & Finance Administrator will provide support to the team for individual / private client /corporate tax compliance services. Liaising with tax authorities, overseas partner firms and clients on a daily basis.

Duties of the Part Time Client Support and Finance Administrator include:

  • To provide full administrative support to the team
  • Providing excellent telephone customer service
  • Onboarding of clients on to our systems including carrying out AML checks
  • To maintain client's data including addresses on Glide, CCH, databases and portals
  • Dealing with daily post, scanning and saving and distributing to relevant team member
  • Maintaining and reviewing clients online accounts with HMRC
  • Maintaining client trackers
  • Preparing standard HMRC letters
  • Packaging and uploading of tax returns and any other documents to client portals
  • To assist with any other administrative and/or client work as and when required

US Tax Administration

  • Printing returns and preparing letters/packaging
  • New client set
  • Updating central workpaper file documents
  • Setting up US workpaper PDF files
  • Updating US client tracker
  • Preparing engagement letters
  • Downloading/uploading documents to/from Sharefile
  • Providing support to Managers, Senior Managers and Partners as required

Finance Administration

  • Administration of Xero
  • Raising and issuing invoices/estimates and retainers to clients
  • Inputting external adviser/supplier invoices
  • Chasing client payments and issuing statements
  • Calling clients and assisting with payment instructions
  • Depositing client payments into bank
  • Maintaining/updating client/supplier details
  • Updating responsibility/team classes
  • Assisting with Global billing coordination
  • Managing client lists, checking client payment status, and updating Glide
  • Managing supplier lists**,** checking overseas supplier payment status
  • To assist with any other finance, administrative and/or client work as and when required.

This is a p art-time job, 9.30-2.30, 25 hours per week.
