Data Insights Lead | International Technology multi-national | London / Hybrid
Harmonic are proud to be working with an International Technology business on the hire of a Data Insights Lead to join the team. This newly created role has come about due to sustained growth across the FP&A (finance planning and analysis) and Data teams and provides an opportunity to shape and growth a function.
Working alongside the Head of Commercial Finance this role will provide a key bridge between the production of FP&A and the build-out of robust dashboards, analytics tools and AI implementation for a business with a huge global presence. Our client is well known for providing high quality global technology and IT solutions with distribution across over 45 countries globally, making them a Fortune 500 business. The culture of the business is fast paced and dynamic and even though they are an established player in the space they put a huge emphasis on implementing new technologies and innovations to be the best in class.
This role is currently a standalone position but marks their first hire in the data insights space so the ideal candidate would enjoy building and developing a function which could in the future include managing team. The role is based in Zone 1 offices, easily accessible on the Northern line and is office based 3 days per week.
The Role:

Ownership of system automation & AI implementation projects

Development of dashboards to track key KPI's and customer behaviors. This includes creation of new dashboards and maintenance of existing ones.

Ownership of customer, technology & industry trends

Responsible for research management, building relationships with third party consultants and transformation of data into actionable insights.

Work in conjunction with the finance team to develop controls & reporting automation.
What our client would like to see (essential):
- Skilled communicator who is confident in presenting data in key stakeholders
- Strategic and Commerical mindset who is keen to understand the bigger picture thinking
- Skilled on data visualization software (Power Bi / tableau etc)
- Track record in building out functions or supporting of the build out of a data insights package would be beneficial
What our client would like to see (non-essential):
- Experience in a service based technology business
- Some business partnering experience with finance or accounting teams previously
- Wide knowledge of key systems
- High caliber Excel and data modelling skills
Salary expectation: £60-70k + bonus + car allowance and company benefits
Notice period: 3 months max
