Sales Administrator

We are looking for a meticulous and customer-focused Sales Administrator on behalf of our client based in Teesside. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer service and a flair for organisation and planning.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage inbound customer queries through phone, email, and instant messaging to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Acknowledge and qualify all incoming sales leads, developing those within your competency and passing on more complex leads for detailed guidance.
  • Plan and coordinate machine servicing and repairs, liaising with both internal and external technical support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Respond to customer communications promptly, ensuring structured and accountable service delivery.
  • Conduct monthly account phone calls in line with CRM activities.
  • Assist in coordinating engineering activities and handle sales administration tasks including quotes, invoices, and contracts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in a customer service role.
  • Meticulous planning and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in software and systems relevant to the role.
  • Superb customer service manner and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of grammar and punctuation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
