Sales and Events Manager
Our client based in Wotton under Edge is looking for a Sales and Events Manager to develop and maintain a successful portfolio and range of service offerings to customers on a full-time, permanent basis.
You will work closely with the Marketing team to agree annual promotions and campaigns to drive business and manage sales, weddings and events co-ordination through customer relationship management until handover to the Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate sales, weddings and events through customer relationship management until handover to Operations.
- Promote and develop new and existing business prospects.
- Keep company system up to date with bookings and enquiries, following up when necessary.
- Generate proposals for clients with the aim of converting enquiries to bookings.
- Develop, implement and maintain sales strategies with the aim of maximising revenue and keeping to company wide revenue targets.
- Contribute to the overall revenue forecast by providing data at forecast meetings and by managing the annual sales budget.
- Assist in developing the marketing plan for events, weddings and services.
- Help Marketing team organise/attend exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and networking and industry events, to promote the services and develop new contacts/sales leads.
Key Attributes
- Previous sales experience
- Experience working with events
- Excellent time management and communication skills
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, support over the weekend may be required on very much an ad-hoc basis.
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits including:
