We are working with our client on a rare opportunity that is offering a pathway into the Wealth management sector for Graduates or someone who has a small amount of financial services experience but seeking something with a clear development path.

The Wealth Assistant role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to work in a well-established and highly respected financial planning company. You will provide a high quality, administrative support to our Financial & Wealth Advisers whilst working collaboratively with other areas of the support team. The client is also committed to fostering personal growth and development and see this role as a progressive opportunity for an individual who wishes to pave a career path within the Wealth and Financial Planning sector.

The duties: - some of the duties are listed below.

  • Support the Financial Advisers by providing full administrator support to our clients. This involves compiling and generating various financial reports, using a number of analytical tools and general day to day enquiries.
  • Assist with client meetings, from appointment scheduling, preparation of financial documents to follow up actions post meeting for example fund switches or withdrawals.
  • Act as main point of contact for your assigned clients ensuring you provide exemplary customer services at all times.
  • Confidently liaise with providers and other third parties to obtain financial information on behalf of our clients.
  • Assisting with projects as they arise for example Consumer Duty and demonstrate dedication to your own personal growth and development within the company.
  • Work collaboratively with Financial Advisers and the Client Manager to ensure effective operational organisation of the team.

What we are looking for :

We are considering both experienced and inexperienced candidates which is be reflected in the salary.

  • 1 years experience in a similar role or financial services product provider or banking environment would be advantageous
  • We are happy to consider Graduates that have studied a relevant degree like Economics, Finance / Investments.
  • Team player with high attention to detail.
  • Organised, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and to specific time frames.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience of working with databases and updating tracking spreadsheets and information systems.
  • Ability to embrace change and new challenges and learn new skills with a positive attitude. • Remain calm under pressure, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Takes personal accountability for solving day to day problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to display discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information. Knowledge
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of all financial products
