Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality lessons, following and creating lesson plans, and providing cover supervision across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning and development of pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across all primary year groups.
- Follow and implement the taught primary curriculum.
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of our students.
- Provide cover supervision across the school as needed.
- Engage children with interactive and stimulating lessons and activities.
- Support the class teacher in fostering a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress and development.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
- Confidence in covering all year groups within a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate children.
- A passion for education and a commitment to the well-being and development of students.

You will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau) and undergo due diligence checks on social media use.
