Tenant Liaison Officer

Are you a Tenant Liaison Officer looking for a new challenge? We have a position available with a Social Housing Contractor who focus on quality of service and customer care, and have great staff retention rates.

My client are a well established Social Housing Contractor, who have an excellent reputation and strong pipeline of work. They are currently recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join them on a temporary basis (until approximately Christmas time) to work on a Solar PV installation scheme in Mansfield.

As a Tenant Liaison Officer you will develop positive relationships with residents in order to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance and major works programmes. You will also be responsible for booking in appointments and will manage your own diary.

Duties include:

  • Liaising closely with Customers & Scheme Manager regarding access and programme of works
  • Assisting and liaising with Site Managers, Supervisors and the Client
  • Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations
  • Post pre-introduction letters to all tenants on the programme - introduce yourself to tenants as main point of contact throughout the scheduled programme and deal with any problems/queries that tenant may have
  • Completing pre-entry surveys on tenant's houses including taking photos/videos of internal & external areas that could be affected by roofing works front & rear elevations (internal ceilings in bedroom/bathroom) advise them of estimated start & completion dates
  • Keeping in contact with tenants throughout & on completion of the works to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Ensure quick and appropriate resolution of tenant claims/compensation requests
  • Monitor and report on customer satisfaction
  • If required; Distribute & Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms
  • If required; liaise with relevant service suppliers (gas, broadband, telephone)

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong and stable career as a Resident Liaison Officer.

You must also have a full driving licence along with your own transport and ideally hold a current CSCS Card.
