About The Role
Purpose of the role
Based in a retail environment, an opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the facilities management team. The successful candidate will form part of a forward-thinking team that deliver the very best in all areas of security, customer service and general facilities management.
You will be working on a zero-hour contract for holiday, sick, event cover.
Duties
- Carrying out regular patrols of the shopping centre and external areas
- Locking/unlocking of the premises
- Providing first-aid as and when required
- Responding to emergency situations
- Assisting with shoplifters
- Effectively dealing with the public and building positive customer relations
- Retailer liaison
- Carrying out health & safety checks
Candidate requirements
- SIA Licence
- Positive & professional attitude
- Excellent customer service
- Reliable
- Ability to work under pressure
- Sound judgement and integrity
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
