- Preparation of income and expenditure reports and monitor spend against budget.
- Analyse financial information to drive understanding and action.
- Provide clear financial information, advice, KPIs, and analysis.
- Liaise regularly with Budget Holders of all levels ensuring provided information is in an accessible format
- Offer vital input into the budget setting process across the organisation and accurately reforecast on a monthly basis
- Build and maintain significant relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure efficient communication between relevant parties.
- Make process and system improvements where necessary by influencing the financial architecture of the organisation to keep up with the organisation's growth.
- Manage and Develop the Purchase Ledger and Finance Assistant
- Support with the payroll functionality of the organisation.
- Improve policies and systems to better meet the organisational objectives.
- Lead, deliver, and develop projects inclusively.
Profile
- Background as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager both suitable
- Experience of working in a multi-departmental / group organisation
- Analytical and goal orientated, with demonstratable experience in similar role
- Strong Excel and IT skills and ability to use Finance systems / databases to input and extract data
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- People Management Skills desirable but definitely not essential
- Open about Qualifications you can be Qualified by experience or studying for an Accountancy Qualification
Job Offer
- £45,000 - £51,800
- Hybrid Working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
- 9-5 hours, 35 hour working week and flexible around start and finish times
