Location: Aconbury (Worcester), Kidderminster Health Centre or Redditch Town Hall

Ward: CAMHS Crisis and ome Treatment Team

Shift Patterns: 08.00am -20.00pm 7 days a week on a rota basis

You'll be working in a service which is embracing compassionate leadership and the need to innovate and work differently in supporting children's mental health. You will also have opportunities to further develop clinical skills through training and quality clinical supervision

What you can add:

  • Support CAMHS staff in learning disability related issues
  • Act as key worker for individual caseloads
  • Promote knowledge of mental health and prevention of mental health illness
  • Plan and implement client centred induvial or group interventions to achieve therapeutic goals

What you'll need:

  • Post-registration qualification working with children and young people with learning disabilities
  • The creativity to solve problem and tackle obstacles in new ways
  • Good knowledge of recognised disorders and illnesses in the field of mental health
  • Understanding of a range of communication styles when working with children and families in distress
