Accounts Assistant - Pendle Area
Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger / Accounts Administrator
Basic - £24,000 to £25,000 DOE
Mon - Fri - 8.00am - 4.00pm/8.30am - 4.30pm/9.00am - 5.00pm (Flexible on working hours)
The Job (in brief....):
- To assist in the production of the monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- To complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all balances are known and are correct
- Optimising the systems we have in place, making sure are we are using them efficiently
- Monthly vehicle stock checks
- Purchase ledger invoices input and control of the supplier accounts
- Provide backup and assistance in the vehicle administration of the group
- To communicate effectively with department managers and assist them with any financial matters required
Skills/Experience:
- Solid level of accountancy skills to balance sheet level
- Extensive excel knowledge
- Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
