Part-Time Internal Sales Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity working for our well-established and thriving client based in Ware. The role is a part-time position working 3 days per week from 9:00am - 4:30pm with an hour lunch paid. The successful candidate will be required to cold call, call warm leads and close sales. Working to monthly targets, your focus will be on increasing sales and income for the organisation. You will need to be confident on the telephone and in promoting the company's services. Gaining and retaining new clients are the key elements of this role and you will work closely with the team to maximum opportunities. This position offers a competitve salary, plus commission scheme and 30 days holiday per annum including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).

Duties

  • To manage the recruitment of clients through both oral and written skill to encourage new members.
  • Working with a mixture of hot leads and building your own lead pipeline through to conversion.
  • Source new leads through social media and direct mailing information and all information sources.
  • Working with the team on marketing campaigns to drive new clients.
  • Maintaining a tidy and functioning working environment.
  • Assist with the administration and organisation of events as and when required.
  • Attend annual Conference, Social Weekend, biannual trade events and/or any other events or functions if considered relevant and requested to attend by the Director of Operations.
  • General office duties to include tea/coffee making, assisting with mailouts, answering incoming calls.

  • There may be a requirement for occasional travel and overnight stays as part of the job role.

  • Must be flexible and willing to cover all duties in the event of holidays and sickness.
