We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the People team in Watford on a full-time, fixed-term basis. Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll support a workforce of over 1,100 employees across multiple sites in the South of the UK. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in our transition from a traditional HR set-up to a more digital, data-led, and proactive people function.
What you'll be doing:
- Be the first point of contact for HR advice on matters like absence, flexible working, maternity/paternity, disciplinaries, grievances, and more.
- Support day-to-day employee relations and HR case handling.
- Contribute to exciting people projects - from building job descriptions and improving EVP to reducing attrition and creating a performance management framework.
- Help refine and standardise recruitment practices, including interview process alignment.
- Support the review and redesign of benefits, pay structures, and progression paths.
- Drive consistency, clarity, and quality across HR processes and manager toolkits.
- Compile and analyse monthly HR metrics reports, including headcount, turnover, absence, and recruitment data, to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or working towards)
- Strong generalist HR experience with ER case exposure
- Organised, proactive, and confident working at pace
- Excel skills and solid overall IT literacy
- Experience working across multiple sites or in a fast-moving environment (retail/hospitality/FMCG a plus)
- Comfortable delivering both day-to-day advice and long-term project work
Come and work for this fast growing, family-run brand with over 100 locations. As they modernise their people offering, this is your chance to help shape how they attract, retain, and support their teams. You'll join a friendly, hardworking HR team where your ideas and input truly matter.
