Credit Controller
Our client, an award winning employer in Northampton, is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.
This is a fast paced role that offers hybrid working, an excellent benefits package for an initial 12 month maternity duration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Chasing B2B debt within the UK and Ireland with businesses ranging from national retailers, wholesalers and SME's.
- Posting and allocating receipts, debit notes and contra deductions.
- Ensuring that the sales ledger is fully reconciled on a monthly basis.
- Monitoring credit limits, payment terms and overdue invoices on accounts.
- Sending out statements to customers.
- Resolving any queries relating to price claims, shortages and damages.
- Creating new customer accounts and credit checking new customers.
You should have previous credit control and sales ledger experience and have proven skills in negotiating, communicating and reducing debt.
