NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Financial Services firm based in London to secure a Financial Controller. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions, optimizing working capital.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS).
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis.
- Drive process improvement and automation within the finance function.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience in a financial controller role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced financial modelling and reporting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects.
