Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking an Electronics Assembler to join their dynamic and talented team in Bury St Edmunds. In this role, you will play a crucial part in producing high-quality electronic products that will be used in a range of industries. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret drawings and instructions will be essential.

What will you be doing?

  • Accurately interpreting engineering drawings and instructions to assemble electronic components
  • Operating electronics-related test equipment
  • Utilising your high level of experience with Microsoft applications or equivalent
  • Applying basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation
  • Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Following written, oral, or diagram-form instructions to ensure the highest level of product quality
  • Collaborating with your team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant team members or supervisors

  • A good standard of general education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
  • A strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
