Reed are proud to be exclusively partnered with a leading photography business who support a wide range of customers in Great Britian and Ireland. They specialise in academic and commercial photography, with a developing focus also within the festival/events space.

We are seeking an experienced B2B sales and marketing executive with a strong understanding of service marketing and sales. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who is ready to generate and manage inbound leads across multiple service areas and territories.

This is a dynamic role where no two days will be the same. In addition to developing leads into sales over calls/emails, you'll have opportunity to attend regular tradeshows and networking events across England and Ireland, to showcase products and services in person with potential new clients.

Full training will be provided, with ongoing development tailored to your needs. Your first week will be spent in Ireland, joining your experienced team and manager in their head office for induction and training!

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support management and sales teams in achieving various marketing objectives.
  • Generate inbound leads targeting relevant services and territories.
  • Book and attend trade shows periodically as required across Ireland and the UK.
  • Build and manage a marketing database and email distribution lists.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare coherent marketing campaigns, devise strategies
  • Source advertising and trade show opportunities within budget.
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries or queries.
  • Write proposal documents, including quotations, as part of the formal bidding procedure.
  • Resolve client objections and negotiate terms to close sales.
  • Follow agreed procedures and communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure delivery of services as agreed with clients.
  • Gather market and competitor information to constantly address customer needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a self-starter in successfully selling a B2B service.
  • Demonstrated experience with prospecting, closing sales, resilience to rejection
  • Ideally, experience with face-to-face client interaction, however not necessary
  • Positive, outgoing, and collaborative personality.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel to attend tradeshows or conferences periodically with colleagues across Ireland and the UK.
