We are supporting a well-established firm of accountants based in Barnsley, looking for an experienced and highly motivated Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. Their client base is predominantly owner-managed businesses and SMEs from a range of sectors.
The majority of the role will be focused on the preparation and submission of statutory accounts, as well as to offer advisory services to the firm's clients. The firm does have a small portfolio of audit clients, and the appointee will be expected to spend around twenty percent of their time planning and leading audits.
You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders, as well as preparing corporation tax returns. You will also provide general tax planning advice to clients, manage and mentor junior members of staff, and build and maintain strong client relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' accountancy practice experience.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
