Well respected company based in near Hayle , Cornwall are looking to recruit a permanent Assembly Operative. Assembly will be a part of this job as well as Metal Finishing so will suit someone with good dexterity
Duties:
- The role involves various metal finishing tasks and the packaging of finished products ready for dispatch.
- This role would suit an active person who is looking for some variety.
- The ideal candidate will have some experience working in industrial environments and using power tools (i.e. drills, grinders, nail guns, etc.). The right candidate must be happy to work hard in a hands-on mechanical environment and be able to listen and learn about work tasks.
- Main tasks:
- Carry out stainless-steel metal finishing using in-house tools and machinery.
- Package finished machines on wooden pallets including making wooden crates.
- Put together sub-assemblies for use in the production of machines.
