Assistant Management Accountant - Tyne and Wear
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

An opportunity has arisen for AAT Level 3 qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established law firm. In this role, you will report to the Head of Departmentand oversee credit control, purchase ledger, and month-end duties, ensuring precision and timely execution of financial tasks.
You will be responsible for:
- Generate weekly debtor reports and manage debt-related communications.
- Handle credit control correspondence and process payments.
- Accurately process supplier invoices and manage vendor queries.
- Ensure timely payment to suppliers and reconcile bank accounts.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and calculate accruals/prepayments.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and analyse P&L accounts.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Relevant accounting experience.
- AAT Level 3 qualification or higher.
- Skilled in Excel and keen attention to detail.
