We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract for one year. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to deliver high-quality and engaging learning experiences to students across KS3 to KS5. We welcome applications from both newly qualified teachers and experienced professionals who are passionate about business education and committed to student success.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Develop, plan, and deliver compelling and informative lessons in Business Studies.
  • Engage and challenge students across different key stages, fostering a passion for the subject.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the design and implementation of curriculum within the subject area.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to wider aspects of school life.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Appropriate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge, including familiarity with Cambridge National Enterprise and Marketing Level 1/2 and Cambridge Technical Level 3.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to the school's values of care, aspiration, growth, and success.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school community.
