Part-time Bookkeeper – 20 hours per week – Hinkley – £33,000 to £38,000 (full-time equivalent)
We are currently assisting a well-established SME with a rich history in their search for a part-time Bookkeeper. This role offers the flexibility of working 20 hours per week, with the option to structure your hours around school times or full days, depending on your preference.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for a Bookkeeper or Finance Manager seeking part-time work. You will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a local SME, including handling the payroll for a team of 30-40 employees, split between weekly and monthly pay cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll management
- Handling purchase and sales ledgers
- Conducting payment runs
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Managing credit control
- Undertaking ad hoc finance duties as required
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper, Finance Manager, Finance Officer, or Accounts Assistant with a strong background in transactional finance and payroll. This role is perfect for someone seeking to balance part-time work with other commitments. While AAT qualifications are preferred, we are equally interested in candidates with proven experience (QBE).

- Proven experience in a stand-alone finance role
