Based in the Trafford Park area of Manchester, your new company are a successful long-standing manufacturing business who are seeking a Sole Credit Controller to join their finance team.
Your new role
Reporting into the FD of the business, this is an excellent opportunity to have full autonomy of the credit control function and related tasks.
As the Sole (Stand-alone) Credit Controller, you will work as part of a busy finance function, with the responsibility to manage the Credit & Sales Ledger function.
Managing customer accounts within the business (large key account clients and SME's) you will be responsible to ensure monies/debt owned are recovered in a professional and timely manner whilst building solid business relations with your customers.
With both phone chasing and portal-based work, you will be confident in chasing both current and aged debt and possess a tenacious can do attitude to get end results.
Invoice generation, credit order reviews and customer query resolution will be part of this varied role and will allow you to demonstrate your excellent prioritisation and self-management skills, which will aid in ensuring a smooth credit function is continually maintained.
You will allocate the cash to the various business accounts, and ensure all relevant information is recorded onto the system.
Reconciliations, with daily and weekly reporting tasks - engaging with the FD to report on revenue.
Liaising with internal sales teams and account managers highlighting any potential 'at risk' or problematic accounts in order to resolve.

Previous Credit Controller experience
Able to work in a fast paced and busy finance department
Manage own workload and work to company KPI's & SLA's
Excellent computer proficiency -Excel
