The role:

This team are on the lookout for a proactive Information Security Access Management Specialist to safeguard our organisation's systems and data. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing sophisticated access controls, ensuring that permissions are meticulously aligned with our robust security protocols.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather system requirements and define user access needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce access control governance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Implement and refine permissions across various platforms, applications, and databases to maintain security integrity.
  • Regularly review access controls to keep pace with emerging security threats and changes in governance.
  • Construct and manage detailed access governance models for systems
  • Conduct thorough access audits to ensure adherence to the principle of least privilege.
  • Streamline user account management processes for both onboarding and offboarding
  • Monitor user activities, swiftly addressing any irregularities or security concerns.
  • Keep updated with the latest industry best practices
  • Participate in security assessments and audits focusing on access controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A solid grasp of access control principles, including role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and discretionary access control (DAC).
  • Proficiency with access management systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, and IAM solutions.
  • A strong commitment to fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices.
