Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager for a global chemical distributor in the West Midlands area.
As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for expanding the company's involvement in the polymers sector, directly liaising with clients in various industries covering composite materials, rubber, plastics and more.
In order to be considered for the role of Technical Sales Manager you must be degree educated in Chemistry as a minimum. No experience is required for this position, although you must have focussed on polymers in your education.
Role requirements
- Bachelor's degree in polymer chemistry, materials science or a closely related subject.
- No experience required for this position but any sales experience in the polymers industry is highly advantageous.
- Technically competent in polymers and have the ability to discuss products with clients.
Role responsibilities
- Build and maintain the relationships with clients that already exist within the business in order to expand sales.
- Use your technical expertise to actively identify new clients within the industry.
- Engage with clients on a daily basis whether via phone, email or site visits.
