Vehicle Technician/Fitter
Location - Malvern, Fulltime - Permanent -Up to £30,000 DOE
My client, a leading global manufacturer of performance fire and rescue vehicles is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Fitter to join their team, making a real difference across the world.
The Role:
- Working on various Rescue vehicles to customer specification within timescale
- Installing PTO's, gearboxes, drive lines, pumps, hydraulic lines, and fittings.
- Working on vehicle chassis and associated equipment
- Working with cutters (Gas/mechanical)
- Working from engineering drawings and fabricate assemblies accordingly.
- Working at height or under vehicles.
- Occasional working off site.
The Person:
- Experience with air and electrically operated hand tools.
- Experience working on fire vehicles - advantageous
- Ability to work to a very high standard within a small team.
- Excellent communication skills
The Benefits:
- 4.5 days week (7-4 mon-thurs / Fri 1pm finish)
- 25 days holiday plus Banks
