Job Overview:
We are looking for knowledgeable and engaging Economics Teachers to join our dynamic schools in East London. The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE and have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). We also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and those with equivalent qualifications, such as DTLLS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons to students.
- Teach various economic concepts, theories, and real-world applications.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress in Economics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Economics curriculum.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to economics and business studies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
- Passion for teaching Economics and inspiring students.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- NQTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
